Johanna Aldred is the artist behind Jojo Beans. She lives in whistler BC with her two little humans and her patient partner, Adam.

If you can't find them out exploring their backyard or in the library, they'll be at home making a beautiful mess! Adam often comes home to a floor sea of fabrics, paints and brushes in the sink, needles jabbed into places they don't belong and bits n bobs strewn over every available surface, and Lego, there's always Lego! In the epicentre of all of this, three happy humans creating for the pure joy of it.

Johanna uses a variety of mediums for her work and is very purposeful in the colours, materials and styles she uses. Each character she makes has a great story behind it! She will often search high and low for just the right bead, bit of material or colour tone! All this intention give her pieces great meaning and impact.

Giving is a huge part of Johanna's world and she has made many individual pieces for those who impact her. She is now sharing those pieces through greeting cards, so she can continue to share her love of giving cards to people and remind them how impactful a small thoughtful card can be.
